The focuses and goals of the town strategy for 2018–2021 are specified yearly in the operational goals of the budget. The town administration, boards and affiliates are responsible for preparing these goals. Goal-specific measures and indicators suited to their assessment are entered in more detail into the budget.
The implementation of operational goals is being monitored actively during interim reviews and more specifically in the town’s financial statement. Strategic implementation is assessed during interim reviews via indicators of operational goals for the budget. Acquired monitoring information is utilised in the yearly assessment of the need for strategic updates.
