CHILDREN HAVE THE RIGHT TO EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND CARE
Early childhood education and care (ECEC) services are meant for all Pyhäjoki children under school age. The goal of ECEC services is to support each child’s all-encompassing growth, development and learning as well as to promote well-being.
Together with pre-primary and basic education, ECEC prepares a path for children on which they participate in pre-primary education one year before the start of their compulsory education. In Pyhäjärvi, pre-primary education is offered in primary schools.
The task of ECEC is to provide equal chances at ECEC for all children.
After the parental allowance period, parents or the caretaker can:
* choose to care for their child at home
* opt for municipal day care
Children’s home care is supported with:
